[CH] Hot and Spicy Potato Chips

Good morning CH. The potato chip thread reminded me that's you can put your own hot and spicy mix on bagged potato chips. Just heat up the potato chips until the oil shows on the surface, then sprinkle them with your own mix. Spread the chips onto a sheet pan in a single layer and heat in a 300F oven for about 5 minutes. After you sprinkle with your mix let them cool. As they cool the spices are absorbed into the chips. Put them back in the bag to keep.
Makes a nice party. I do it for my husband's audiophile group and they love the different flavors I have come up with.
