Ok, I just planted my pepper garden (habaneros, tabascos, cayennes, and 2 non-chile strawberry plants). IF (and that's a big if) I remember correctly, the correct time to water is in the evening, right? If I'm right, it's so the sun doesn't just evaporate all of the water away before the plants have a chance to suck it all up, right? That, and to avoid wet leaves from magnifying the sun and burning the leaves. Have I got this about right? And, does anyone know how much water strawberry (and blackbeerry, as I'll be adding those next month when I have money again)? I'll say this much...the peppers from both wally world and Lowes were NOT taken very good care of. It's good that I rescued them. :-) I won't stress them out until they get nice and big and start cranking out lots of peppers!
