Hi All!
Delurking again after a couple of years with a question for any New
Yorkers on this list.
I'm finally taking the plunge and relocating to NYC (Astoria,Queens)
next month and was wondering if anyone knows of a shop that sells
my favorite "over-the-counter" hab sauce, El Yucateco. I checked
a couple of the local Mexican Groceries in the area and found a
couple that sold Bufalo products--but no Yucoteco and no-one that
had heard of it.
Anyone know where it's available (have Metrocard will travel) in
Queens, Brooklyn or Manhattan? While I'm taking a couple of weeks
rations, I'd hate to go without!
On a related CH note, while wandering Church in Flatbush (as
the Louima verdict was being pronounced none the less), I couldn't
help but feel that I made the right decision to relocate as I
passed grocery after grocery with habs (red, green and orange)
the size of golfballs for 8/$1.00....
Any other NYC chile info would also be appreciated.
