It's true. Asking around, many friends here in Austin consider the Salt Lick
a fine place. While I don't have a recipe for their sauce, you can order it

Subject: [CH] Salt Lick Like Sauce


Just thought I would probe the water a little bit here......

Has anyone out there ever eaten at the "Salt Lick" just outside of Austin?
If you have, I'm sure you would agree that they have some of the best BBQ
sauce on the planet, particularly the habanero variant!  Does anyone have a
clue how I could make this stuff at home?  I'm from Michigan and it's on
hell of a commute to Austin from here for extra sauce!
