[CH] Luke on Coffee Grounds...

Those landscapers were right on Luke.  Two of my favorite fertilizers
are coffee grounds and eggshells.  They are excellent soil conditioners
and we learned something about coffee grounds many years ago..earthworms
go CRAZY over them..they must be some kind of earthworm delicacy.  The
worms further help to condition and aerate the soil.  Another tip is
that coffee grounds are slightly acidic and although they're fine for
Chiles and tomatos,  plants that thrive in acidic soil do especially
well with them such as rhododendrons and rose bushes.
