Dave,

The TMV study was because myself and about 30 others felt that you
implied that smokers and only smokers caused/spread TMV.

After your statement I had about 30 private mails ranging from:

"No one around here smokes, and to the best of my knowledge tobacco
is not grown in this state. I have TMV, do you know why "

TO

"We have smoked for 3 generations, we have never had TMV"

For seed diseases I had
1. Bacterial Spot. Var. Jamaica Scotch Bonnet, Cat#1430-00 lot # 1430A
2. Anthracnose Var. Charleston Hot Cat# 6724-00 Lot# 6724P
3. Phytophthora Stem rot. Var. Habanero, Cat# 1274-00 Lot# 1274A
4. Cercospora Leaf spot. Var. Caribbean Red, Cat# 6674-00 Lot #6674

Above numbers from seed packages

All of which even a novice gardener should be able to distinguish from TMV

I had plants from Burpee, Gurney, NK, Vessey's, Johnnys and purchased
plants from Horticulral Enterprises of TX. the same area, without
those diseases.

Certifications

All I asked was to print in your catalog or URL whether or not the
seeds you sell have tested for, or treated for seed borne diseases.
That simple. If they have been then whats the problem ?
