[CH] botulism and other matters

Firstly, I was responsible for starting this thread again, as I asked for
some recipes. (I have recently dined at a few local Italian eateries which
give you an olive oil based sauce in which to dip your bread rather than
butter). I am grateful to those who reminded me that I must be careful
when putting vegetable matter in oil.

Regardless of how small my chances of "getting the bug" are, I'd prefer to
error on the side of caution. [Yes, I'm prepared to meet my Creator, but
still have a few things I want to do here on this planet ;-)]

I will exit the list later today to change ISP. Flames or otherwise may be
directed to either:

The plants I purchased from Chile Woman are beginning to flower, led by my
favorite, Arrivivi Orange. Life is good!

Wishing everyone a bountiful harvest,
Frank
