I guess I have the opposite problem with my Habs.. I live in SC where we
normally have dry\hot summers but this one is very wet with extra high
humidity. I have raised beds ( made especially for the Habs. ) made up of
wood's dirt and aged goat manure that had been turned over every week up
until planting 2 months ago. I DO use Miracle Grow once a week on top of
every thing else. My plants are 3 feet tall - 3 feet wide, making tons of
peppers. I have them caged in but they've out grown the caging and get blown
around by the wind. I can't decide what factor has contributed most to the
outstanding growth, I assume it's a combination of all mentioned - what ever
it is, I've never seen plants grow so fast and produce so much. I wish my
tomatoe plants would pay attention !

I anyone else has had such good results this year let us all know what went
into such a good crop......
