Fellow ChDs,

Most of us have heard for a lifetime (erroneously) that the heat is in the
seeds. I love the line that says "this is guilt by association with the
placentae (membranes)"

Note well what Carp says about seeds and powders in the air. Also, one of
the great reasons for growing, drying, and grinding our own is so that we
won't have to put up with the 30-50% seed in commercial jars of "crushed red
pepper."
