Hi all,
Akiva in Israel asked about how long we've had our plants survive. Here
in South Africa I have a Habanero in a pot that is in it's 3rd year and
is still healthy. I shelter it during winter. My BIL has an unidentified
annum cross in a huge plant pot that has survived seven years outside
under a roof overhang despite our sometimes frosty winters. I was
looking at it yesterday while visiting and suggested that he prune it
severely and remove all the old and dead wood (as one would prune a rose
bush) as soon as the weather starts to warm up. I reckon that it'll
bounce back better than ever.
Cheers
