[CH] cayenne scallops & strawberries

Tossed this together for dinner Sunday night :

1/2 - 3/4 pound fresh sea scallops
which was marinated for about 30 minutes in the refrigerator, using an off 
the shelf liquid scampi seasoning  (olive oil, garlic, etc), to which was 
added about 1 teaspoon of dried basil, and 2 pinches of cayenne.  .

while that was brewing, took some strawberries and quartered them. Had some 
fresh cayenne peppers that I diced .

After marinating suitably,  poured off some of the liquid into a non-stick 
pan, using medium heat, and added the cayennes.  After a minute or two, then 
added the scallops and the rest of the liquid, and covered the pan.  cooked 
for about 4-5 minutes, then turned the scallops for another minute or so.

I then removed the pan from the burner, and added the strawberries, and 
recovered for about 2-3 minutes.  then served.

Great taste of the cayenne against the strawberries, plus the garlic from the 
scampi seasoning.
