[CH] Pickled Deli Pepper Variety?

G'day All,

I was staring at the bowl full of pickled peppers in the deli window
yesterday and was wondering what they might be. Looked to be 4 lobed, 1.5 -
2 inches long, rather square and squat greenish yellow, thinish wall. They
are pickled in a strong vinegar and brine and solution, and are real
crunchy and pretty tasty. Wouldn't mind knowing what they were and how to
pickle them to have that crunch. Actually one of our pizza chains "Ribs on
the Run" over here supply one with every pizza. Mildly spicy with a good
acid taste from the vinegar to cut through the cheesy aftertaste from pizza.
Anyone have any ideas?

The End
