I am a computer VAR. Happy99.exe
is an old Trojan that has recently
resurfaced. I have yet to encounter an
instance where someone who sent it realized
he/she was doing so. The nature of a
Trojan is such that it masquerades as an
innocent file that propagates itself in
the background, following the opening of
the seemingly innocent email attachment.
Thereafter, the Trojan (in this case,
Happy99.exe) automatically sends a copy
of itself to every entry in the address
book of the infected user--without that
user's intervention or knowledge.
