I have one lamb who is quite a 'leaper' (as in 'leaps over the fence.') Dog
patrol has proved ineffective, as leaping lamb has developed some evasive moves,
and is pretty quick, so we've just learned to tolerate him, besides he takes
care of some areas I'd otherwise use a weed eater on and he does leap back to
join the flock after a little snack. He did finally cross the line...ate some
30 pepper plants, mostly hots, habs, cayennes, super chiles, flower, fruit,
leaf, stem and all. Fortunately, most of my better plants are in another bed
which he has thus far ignored...all I can say is that he is obviously
'volunteering' and doing us a favor by adding seasoning....we've started calling
him "Hot Luck." First time I've ever heard of a chile head sheep...I plan to
trap Hot Luck using as bait a trail of Uncle Steve's powders, perhaps a dash of
Campbells Fiery Hot Habanero sauce...
