Fellow CHers,
Here's a quick and simple way for making hot pepper
jam for those of us that don't can.

Three Habaneros
1 18 oz.(500g) bottle orange Marmalade

Dice the Habs and cook in a small pan with one
tablespoon of Marmalade until habs are tender (about
15 min.) Add the rest of the Marmalade and warm over
low heat, stirring occasionally, until the jam mostly
dissolves. Let it sit overnight in the refrigerator
until it sets and the flavors have time to mix. It's
great with cream cheese and crackers.
You can substitute any type or amount of pepper for
the Habs but use twice as many peppers as you think
you will need because the sugar has a way of cooling
the heat.
