A factor to consider is heat. My seed starting set up is 8; 2 tube fixutures in a 12 by 18 room The heat of these fixtures warms the room up. With the room thermostat set at 68F, this room get's up over 90F. I had to keep the door closed to keep the @#$%^ kitten out. Byron
