Robert, maybe it has something to do with our first names?   All of my
Shepard's Red Savinas are true to color as well.  The seeds were purchased
Jan 98 and planted in March 98. This years blooms are exactly like the last,
with golf ball sized peppers.  I have some in pots and some in the ground.
While the ones in the ground do better,  all are a deep red. Hmmm.
