[CH] season report

Well, due to a lot of house projects and a bad start to the season, my pepper "harvest" is going to
be negligible, but I just wanted to say that the Lemon Drop pepper I started last year is still
going strong and looks like it's gonna drop me a huge load of tasty peppers, and my much loved
Namaqua peppers are the most beautiful things I have ever grown. They're pumping out literally a
hundred bright purple blossoms per plant and have a really cool array of black-ripening-to-blood-red
upright peppers. They come with my highest recommendations for ornamental peppers with a kick. Nice
flavor too. Rather seedy but worth it.

Made a Mexican feast last nite and whipped up a batch of adobo chipotles.... haven't heard much on
the list lately about that treat but I thought I'd ask if anyone has any unusual uses for them... I
don't know if the sauce or the peppers are the best part, I love them both.

Hot regards from Flanders,

Diane
