Starting some seeds here in OZ, The grape vine has new growth so I
figure spring must well and truly be here. transplanted a Manzaon that
was doing nothing the other day and put some red Scoria (decomposed
Granite) around the top as a sort of mulch, I have to report that it
seems to have perked up. Could have been the shock of getting
transplanted.
On another topic I'm thinking of doing some smoking this year, I have
access to a old honey storage vat ( 3/8 stainless steel 4ft wide by 4ft
deep on 3ft steel legs for about Aud150.00, it has a 3inch hole at the
bottom that is suitable for an inlet, should it be bigger? i'm thinking
of welding lugs on the inside and making some ss mesh trays. Thinking of
using a ss termite mesh material as its probably quite easy for me to
get my hands on at a reasonable price (has about 1/2 millimetre holes,
very small anyway..
I'm open to any info on Chile smoking that is available.
My step brother had a seafood smoking operation in Perth WA/ OZ. but his
agent in Sydney was a Maori who gave away a $18,000 shipment to his
mates and others.end of operation..

 Hey my 16yr old son the drummer is recording a 6 track CD EP this
weekend at a studio, The boys band is called Psycotic  .They tell me
madness runs in the family so this must make me a  certifiable
neurotic.<G>
