Neh? You actually use cream? A couple of years ago I posted up a
conversion of my grandma's potato soup that I made into jalapeno soup.

It's a basic recipe, cut up as many jalapenos and onions as you want,
puree or smash a couple of garlic cloves, dice up a couple of potatoes for
starch, sautee everything until the onions are clear, dump the peppers
etal in a pot and pour in skimmed milk without scorching the milk and
bring to a simmer, add some corn if you want, then mix in flour or corn
starch as a thickener until you get the right consistency. Finally, salt
and pepper to taste and toss in some parsely flakes for visual
stimulation.

When you serve set butter, margarine or butter buds on the table for
the eaters to blend in on their own dosage-level, and have at it.

It's a very simple recipe and has scads of room for improv; and it takes,
like, 20 minutes. Personally, I like throwing in some shredded cayennes.
