Chlorine is like vinegar or acid. It comes in different strengths. The PPM
depends on how strong the stuff is you start with.

TSP vs. Chlorine: TSP is good to use if you have a batch tuff seeds that
refuse to let lose of the first leaves. Use warm water for best results. I
use a heaping teaspoon in a quart jar, soak for about an hour, rinse with
warm water for a few minutes and plant. We use the stuff full strength in
hot water to strip furniture and brass, some what like a mild caustic soda
(lye).
