Tom

Here is an example of why I say READ THE LABEL.

In front of me I have a bottle of Bonide's Mancozeb Flowable
with Zinc

Front label says

A broad spectrum fungicide for use on grapes, tomatoes, potatoes
and other listed vegetables.
For The control of anthracnose, boytrytis, blights, downey mildew
and other listed diseases.

In the store you say to yourself, H'mm it list tomatoes so may good
for peppers.

You buy, you bring home, and then read the stuck on label.

Asparagus
Corn
Cucumbers
Melons
Onions
Potatoes
Summer squash
Tomatoes
and
Grapes. (did not list flowers)

H'mm, Peppers and Winter Squash not listed.

Point, If it does not say ALL Vegetables on the outside label
read the inside before applying.

Tried a 25% solution on 1 plant, had phytotoxicity

Oh well another $14 bottle of stuff to go to the once a year, hazzardous
waste day at the recycling center.
