hi folks,
just a comment about recent postings regarding "Aussie Hot-Headz" .
the CH list has recently defended itself against abusive & inappropriate

postings (roystie; can't forget soon enough). so i wonder ... might we
be
somewhat oversensitive as a result?
should the announcement of a new product source be considered
"spam"?
i don't think so.
my hometown is vancouver, and though it's unlikely that i'd order from
AH-H , it was still an interesting post. you never know ... someday,
that CH info might come in handy for a "new lister" from somewhere
near Ozland ; or for someone travelling to that area.
isn't this list about sharing info related to chiles?
including places to buy them ?!! of course!
every business works to make a profit (it pays the mortgage) ;
most good enterprises also provide a service to the customer.
(not every corner store carries my fave hot sauce.)
the AH-H announcement sounded like "service with a smile".
let's not be too hard on folks that share our love for the chile.
let's give them a chance to tell us "who they are, what they do,
& what they can offer" . we might get a pleasant surprise!
(as in new sauce/powder/rub/etc./etc)
if the "offer" keeps repeating, ad nauseum ... then it's spam.
my opinion only.
love this list
