[CH] Lemon drop peppers in beer

When the whiteflies hit my greenhouse, I picked out my best pepper plants (in
containers) and took them to my daughters for safe keeping.  Whiteflies are now
gone, thanks to Marathon, so I got my prize lemon drop pepper plant back
Saturday.  It was loaded with about a hundred peppers that look like long
tabascos.  The aroma and taste of them is wonderful.  A strong lemon smell and
an interesting vegetable (raw asparagus?) taste.  Medium heat.  We were about to
have a beer when I had the idea to try one of the peppers in the beer.  So I
took a Rolling Rock, unscrewed the cap, split the pepper lengthwise and put it
in the beer.  Screwed the cap back on and left it in the fridge for a day.  Boy
is it good!  A nice strong citrus flavor.  A lot like Tequiza beer except you
get to eat Senor Chile at the end.  I've now got a whole case of it "brewing".
