Hi Sarah

You might want to try these; they are recommended by one of our London
Eating Guides;

AFRICAN

"Calabash" The Africa Centre, 38 King St, WC2E 8JS - near Covent Garden.
(0171 836 1976)
I've eaten there several times - generally good but touristy.

"Brixtonian" 11 Dorrell Place SW9 3PL (0171 978 8870)

"Smokey Joe's Diner" 131 Wandsworth High St, SW18 4JB (0181 871 1785)

INDIAN

Many thousands to choose from - best bet is to go to Southall or
Wembley (both about 6 -8 miles from central London. Many excellent
Punjabi cafes and restaurants.

MIDDLE EASTERN

"Adams Cafe" 77 Askew Rd, W12 9AH (0181 743 0572)

Cheap and cheerful - I last went there two years ago and it was good
value.

London and suburbs is packed with good Thai, Vietnamese etc etc
restaurants. Best bet is to beg borrow or steal a copy of 'TimeOut
Eating and Drinking Guide" Suburbs of London are often a better bet
for good food - avoids the tourist traps.

Have a great time

Tim
