Dear Tom,

ROAST PUMPKIN SEEDS
Once you've carved your jack-o-lanterns for Halloween, don't throw out
those pumpkin seeds. They're a nutritious and delicious snack when
roasted. Here's how:
--Separate the seeds from the stringy pulp, wash them and spread the
seeds on a cookie sheet.
--Sprinkle the seeds lightly with salt and roast in the oven at 375F for
3 to 4 minutes.
--Stir them and continue roasting for another 2 to 3
minutes until the hulls are golden brown.

Chile-heads can "heat" these up with their favorite hot sauce just
before roasting!
