Hi Calvin,
Here in Ligonier I eat at a Mexican restraint that lets me bring my own
habs and chiles and the cook them in my food. They even make me salsa. The
cook told me the kitchen clears out when I come cause they can't stand the
chile fumes.

Hello CHs-
While working out of town the last 2 months, my partner and I have made
several stops at a Pizza Hut in the nearest town. The manager and cook
came out to see what we were putting on the pizza (chile powder, hybrids
and habs). They asked if we would like to cook it in the pizza. Now,
when we go in the door, the cook prepares a large thin crust sausage,
mushroom and extra cheese and brings it out to our table. We cover it
with chopped pods and powder. Although it probably is not kosher for
the health codes, it is the best pizza I have ever eaten. The cook says
it is no problem as long as they don't have to touch it, but I doubt
that. However, since they offered and don't mind, we enjoy the pizza
thoroughly. Anyone else ever done this? Did it cause trouble? TIA
Calvin
