We also grew the Jalapas (Minnesota)... Had many, many peppers, but I
wasn't too crazy about them. Very thick walled, and not much flavor
(IMHO). Tho, we were able to get about three to the red stage, and that
was fun. While prolific, they're not ones I'd rush out to purchase
again.

FWIW... It *seems* to me the jalapenos I'm finding [green] in the
stupormarket here are this variety: pretty tasteless, large rounded
shoulders, very 'beefy' - like a bell. Anybody else notice this???

What a slew of WONDERFUL sounding peppers! Gives me something to dream
and plan for next summer!
