Luke,
I had once the same experience.
I made what I call 'cocktail bites', this is toothpick with a cube
young (Dutch) cheese with on top a part (1 x 1 cm) red chile pepper and
above that a small part pine-apple.
After a few we noticed that there was a big difference in heat
between parts, but I did notice that there was a slightly color difference
between the mild and hot parts, the hot ones were more red.
So I assumed this was the side which has seen more sun than the
other side of the pepper.
Have you seen color diff. Luke? and do anyone think it is due to
more or less sunlight or is it something else?

	Hot regards
	Rob
