[CH] quiet

The list traffic has been kinda low lately, real quiet.  Is it that
everybody is getting ready for the holidays?  Or are people
getting ready to go underground in preparation for Y2K?  To
get ready for the latter, I did some shopping the other day 
and picked up:

   couple gallons drinking water
   batteries
   extra canned food
   bag of dried chiletepins

I figure these items will still be useful after the new year
arrives and practically nothing has dropped out of the sky,
fallen off the edge of the earth, or otherwise ceased to exist.
Of course, if I'm wrong, you'll be able to find me.  I'll be the
one eating canned food by flashlight having chiltepins for
dessert (dried tepins mixed with cling peaches in heavy
syrup... sounds kinda tasty, actually).
