Here one I did the other day that is good as well as simple.... so
simple that I've never formatted it to put in a recipe data base.

Peel and dice (large) potatoes and carrots and one small turnip (opt)
and put in bottom of crockpot. Salt and papper a 3 lb (or so) venison
roast and lay on top of veggies. Peel and slice thin a medium onion.
Spread over meat. Sprinkle an envelope of *cheap* onion soup/dip mix
over the whole thing. I stemmed and sliced in half a ripe habanero and
laid that on top of the whole ting. Cover and set crockpot on low. DO
NOT ADD LIQUID - it makes its own jus. Go to work. Food will be ready
when you come home. All that's left is to make a medium roux to thicken
the jus for gravy. Simple and deeeeeeee-licious.

ENJOY!!!
