And there will be another in the Great American Outback.... on July
15/16. My sister and I are hosting a FIDO Cooking echo picnic in
Springfield, IL. on that weekend. There is also the Illinois State
Championship Chilli Cook Off on the 15th.

Several of the Fido folks are also Chile-Heads... so, what the heck. The
more the merrier. There will be more food than a sane person can eat -
not all of it fiery - some of the FIDO folks and Natural Foods folks are
pepper wusses.

I'm working on block room rates and campground discounts for people who
want to come and make a week end of it.

Also, the organizers of the Illinois State Championship Chilli Cook Off
have said that they would be glad to have any Chile Head who wants to
judge ICS chilli - you'll get to eat some of the finest chilli you've
ever tasted (and probably a couple that you'd spit out if it were polite
so to do). Free beer for the judges, too.

If you're free that week end.... c'mon down. Good company, good food, a
reasonable assortment of hot stuff and things to do. How could it get
any better....
