A small step in US perspective, but a leap for a Swede...  The 
Swedish Chile Association is formed!

Mission:

To increase the knowledge and use of chile peppers.
To arrange culinary gatherings and seminars about the capsicum 
species. (Guess that is pretty close to hotlucks...   :)
To act as a consumer organization for good quality and range in the 
stores.

They registered the exotic domain name "chilepeppar.com"...  it is 
available only to members (and of course in Swedish...  ;)

Any (swedish speaking) CHs can join, yearly fee 100 SEK. Go to the 
website for info.

Ahhhh... at last... First meeting Feb 17, with a chile buffet...
