Carp (my favorite fish to catch),

I have been pleased with some of the discussions generated about cloning in
peppers. There have been some good ideas presented for both sides. I
didnt think when I joined this list it was only going to be talking about
who has the hottest salsa or what recipe we had for supper tonight or why
arent my seeds coming up. It wont be too long in the future when any
company with a few molecular biologists will be able to manipulate the
genes in all kinds of plants, I would hope they would maintain some control
so that they dont inadvertently introduce say the capsaicin gene into
tomatoes, we would enjoy it but the general population might have to give
up eating tomatoes.
