Hi, Dave. Nice summary you gave for the newbies.

But isn't Canola already genetically modified rapeseed? Doesn't "Canola"
mean "Canadian Oil Low Acid" or something like that since the modification
was to lower the fatty acid content of rapeseed oil? So, then, Monsanto is
planning to modify a modification?....where does it end? Scenes from the
Woody Allen movie with the giant bananas come to mind (don't go there
Professor Doctor Sir Knight Gareth).

Back more on topic especially for carp's sake: Spring is here in Houston,
daffodils and azaleas blooming and I'm finding new growth from the base of
one of my chile plants left in its pot outside all winter thinking it had
died of a suprise massive dose of cold one day. And a tiny little volunteer
in the bottom of my piquin pot in the same place. I'm watching and waiting
now for some sign of new birth from my hab pots out there! Life is pretty
good.
