Used Snail/slug Pellets and also used a seaweed based fertiliser on my
Chile Plants in the shade house Eastern side of house..
What I got possibly due to the weather [lots of rain and summer
Humidity] is a growth on the snail pellets [White like mould] .. don't
particularily like it and was wondering if it could cause me problems,
Anybody experienced this ???
Am thinking of repotting in fresh sterile medium after washing in a mild
bleach solution...
I have some Chile plants that I would rather not lose if I can possibly
avoid it....
Tepins, Chaconese-[Thanks Scott], Manzanos..
I am also looking at trying a Bourdeux mixture [Copper Oxychloride] on
some ???
Plants generally look healthy, apart from the Slug attack, which led me
to use the pellets, Having on previous occasions tried the beer in a
saucer and in hindsight realised that these were Aussie Slugs and could
drink me under the table..
