No, George, not snowed in (in NYC). Last two intended
snow storms never happened -- there's one scehduled for tonight,
that same one which is bedevilling the midwest, but we never
know if and when, around here. Fortunately, our watershed is 
upstate where snow and rain LOVE to fall.

We're even quite warm here -- 20 degrees, not bad. When the
wind kicks up, it does get mean..  We were putting nylon bird
screening around our umbrella pine two days ago, and our 
fingers suffered badly. It comes with the territory, you know.
