Hello Peoples,
This is Michael, Bambi's other half, who actually keeps this computer =
working so she can talk on it.
I have set up a couple of features on our web page for the use of our =
cyber-friends. First, I've set up a message board that can be used in =
something of a newsgroup fashion, and I've added a chat room that works =
something like an IRC chat room. But they will only be known to those =
who have our URL, so hopefully, we won't have all that riff-raff you =
find on Usenet or IRC.
The chat room is a Java applet so your browser needs to support Java to =
use it. The message board is just forms, but the browser built into AOL =
has trouble updating it; however our IE 4.0 works fine with it. (I =
find this amusing since I got the templates from AOL and it's running on =
AOL's web servers!)
Anyway, I hope you find these things useful. I enjoy the technical =
challenge of just setting these things up; so now I need some users so =
they will actually have a purpose!! Just go to =
http://www.geocities.com/heartland/meadows/6193
Thanks,
Michael
