This is the trade name for the tool, like Skillsaw is the trade name for a small portable electric circular saw. Doesn't matter who makes it. 12" chop saws don't work too well on 8" timbers, cutting out pipes, rusted wheel cylinders or cut foundation nails when replacing sills. or real close cut's on cmu's My thoughts on the sawzall was the tool would get the job done at a lot less $$ Byron
