I revive some of my sick tropical hibiscus plants by drenching their soil
with a chlorine bleach and water solution that may be 20% bleach. Have
revived 2-leaf wilted seedlings, too. In my Ortho Garden Sprayer
(attaches to end of hose), I set it for 2 tbspn/gal. and spray my
hibiscus plants and whatever else is nearby -- peppers, etc.
I use more bleach on my plants than my wife uses in the washer.
