Hi All,
    I spent this afternoon on hands and knees, digging out grass roots, =
nut grass, fighting fire ants and getting two more rows to ready to =
plant.
    My work rate is completing one 25 ft. row per day on hands and =
knees. Today, I tried weeding enough area for two rows. I only got half =
of the area done. So tomorrow I'll try to finish weeding and plant =
collards, turnips,broccoli & Brussels sprouts.
    Sunday, Judy and I planted 52 Red Granex onions and two kinds of =
carrots, imperator and Danvers 1/2 long. Still looking for Texas Gold =
Spike carrots developed by A & M. Been trying to find them for 3 years.
    So far we have 18 Rio Verde cabbage planted, 123 Bunching onions, =
100 White Granex, 52 Red Granex, 100 1015Y onions for a grand total of =
375 onions.=20
    I have been trying to find Candy onions locally. I have found some =
in catalogues but @ 8.95 per bunch. IMHO that is way too much to pay for =
a bunch of onions. I'm paying from 1.25 to 2.50 per bunch.
    It's time to hit the hay. I want to get an early start in the =
morning.
