[tomato] Growing tomatoes

I am a newcomer to growing tomatoes. I bought some seeds from a local
supermart, and started growing them about 3 months ago. I have since
grown a real big plant. But the problem is, I do not have many fruits on
my plant. I have so far only 8 fruits! The plant has been flowering
alot, and I mean alot. There were many flowers, but alot of them simply
just drop off after blooming. I was really glad to see your web-page
with the picture of dropping blossoms - exactly what's happening to my
plant.

I am thinking of throwing that plant away, and start raising the seeds
again. Since I've over fertilised the plant before, I do not know if
there's anything I can do to get the plant to bear more fruits now - ie.
to stop the flowers from dropping. I have been watering the plant
without fertiliser for about 2 weeks now, but the flowers are still
dropping. Do you have any suggestions for me? Thank you.

Casey.
