Damn scary, neh? That's primarily all one can find in the "typical"
grocery stores today. Pace products (o' kaka) and Taco Bell's
stuff...which I haven't tried, but ya know, that little voice in me sez:
DON'T DO IT! RUNAWAY! So, I don't and I do.

I make my own usually. Doesn't have the shelf life of processed/commercial
salsas, but that in itself makes me wanna stay away. Just ain't fond of
things that can sit in the fridge for weeks at a time (unless you keep your
fridge at 40 (-) like I do...which lengthens the life of everything in
there....keep fresh cilantro standing in water for 2+ weeks..). Makes me
nervous...preservatives and such stuff. Paranoid I be...and not fond of
stuff that is high vinegar and thus can sit about for lengthy periods of time.

Not that I haven't bought and souped up, so to speak, some K-roger salsa
(not as bitter/weird as Pace), but such occurances typically mean it's
either that or I don't eat. I usu. opt for eating...lazy/hungry bastard
that I get to be..

Peace, Hendrix, and Chiles.......
