Sorry, I managed to lop off the part of my message with the botanical
name of Rau Ram
Polygonum Odoratum.
The Encyclopedia of Herbs/Brown - It is used as a medicinal and
culinary herb in SE Asia. It has a lemon-coriander aroma and is added to
meat dishes (especially fowl), duck eggs and the sauerdraut-like du'a
can.
I can personally state that it is excellent in carnitas or chile verde
pork.
I also like it tossed with kim-chee.
