This is indeed sad news. I, and I am sure many others, have missed his
presence on the list. He was generous, literate, and entertaining along
with being a prolific poster of Thai recipes.

After trying several of his recipes, I made an effort to track down as
many of them as I could find both on this list and others, ending up
with I think around 200. For those who might wonder what the fuss about
the Colonel is all about or would like these, I'd be happy to .zip and
email them. They are somewhat edited (trying to keep his commentary on
each recipe) and formatted for printing on large recipe cards. Just
email me if you are interested.
