[CH] Like a beacon in the night

It was cold, wet and windy yesterday here in sunny Alabama and I was on my
way home from work. I stopped at the local Kroger's to pick up stuff for
dinner and, like I tell my daughters to do, I always check the chiles. This
time El Grande had pity on my soul. I walked into the produce section and
was greeted by that particular neon orange that lights the cockles of my
heart and the rest of my innards. I was amazed, and very blessed, to find
at least 2 pounds of fresh, gorgeous, longer-than-my-thumb habs. I snatched
up at least one pound, feeling that it is only appropriate to spread the
blessing by leaving some for others (but if they are they today, then they
had their chance!!).

You know, I don't know if it was still cold and wet when I left. B-)

Blessed be El Grande,
