Havent had any problems with the oposum in my garden but do , from time to
time, have problems in my grain bin. My answer is steel traps, or under
another name leg hold traps.  I use a rat & mouse bait in a large pan with
the (two) traps outside the pans. The oposum has a leisurly gait and will
wander into the trap usually both traps. Then the 22 cal. revolver does the
finishing act. Yes they are classed as a fur bearer and have a season but
my state permits certain property protection rights.
