Traps sound like a good idea, but...

My state (Massachusetts) outlawed "cruel traps" last year. So now, leghold
traps cannot be used in this state. Beavers are running wild, flooding
properties in upscale neighborhoods, and nobody can do anything about it
legally. Opposums are not even on the radar screen here.

But the state is protecting us against ourselves!
