Hi, I live in W.Cent. Fla., and brought up[ oops!] the subject of 'possum as
something to eat while talking to some folks from " almost original"
families. Quote...WHen you see the south end of a dead cow moving look fer a
possum mergin!" Nope, dont think That meat is for me! Hafta be rather hard
up, [ or, Doug}.
BTW: bought new sauce today. Never heard of it. Called: Frontera Tangy
Toasted Arbol Hot Sauce. Supposedly endorsed by James Beard Chef of the
year: Rick Bayles{ Raol????] Put it on a potatoe chip I happened<sic> to
have in my mitts at the time. Rather nice. Bite, more of a Hab flav., than
anything else, smoky [tad], not much vinegar[YEH!] problem: ingred: water,
Cider vin., Toasted Pumpkin seeds, arbol chiles, Seseme seeds, Guajillo
chiles, garlic,etc...
Not familiar w/ this . ANYBODY?
3.] Got given two plants. One reg{?} hab and one [ WHITE Flame???] Hab .
When young, WF has silvery/white fruit. When totally mature, has Brilliant
red fruit. HOT!
Guesses???
