So do I. The best wholegrain breads in the world, with absolutely fresh
butter, and it seems like somebody in nearly every family makes
exquisite blackberry or blackberry-apple jam to with; really FRESH eggs,
fine bacon, some of the best and freshest seafood on earth (for which
reason fish and chips is a whole other experience than here or in a lot
of England), great Assam tea *all* the time in *huge* pots, and
colcannon, food of the Gods. The greasy fried white bread at
breakfast and the bad sausages and huge leathery overcooked peas are
English imports, and the dry hamburgers were learned from bad American
chains.
